Daneshpajouh, Mohammad-Taqi
(1911–1996) a prominent Iranian scholar and librarian. After studying in Qom and earning a law degree from Tehran University in 1941, he spent nearly three decades transforming its Faculty of Law library into one of Iran’s best. A professor of history at the Faculty of Theology from 1969, he authored and edited numerous works on Persian and Islamic studies and produced landmark catalogs of Persian and Arabic manuscripts, including the celebrated catalog of Tehran University’s Central Library.
